There is a lot of fly fishing art out there these days and I am amazed at the talent people have! Cinematography, Pictures, Paintings, etc. All these things are growing and quite amazing.
Recently, I saw a new type of fly fishing art that I had never seen before. Marcella Ruso is one of a kind and her art is truly unique. I have never seen anything like it, and the first time I saw it I knew more people had to see her amazing work.
Her sculptures are made from sisal, metals, rope, teeth, and claws formed from fast steel, hand painted glass-eyes, aluminum, or iron are materials that you may find in any of these unique one-of-a-kind pieces!!!
Marcella does different types of sculptures. Anything from life size gators made out of sisal and rope to turtles, but it is her huge flies that first caught our attention.

As many of you know I grew up fly fishing the Provo River, most of the time with my dad. The Christmas before he died I bought him a framed painting of a father and son walking through a field to go fish. I wanted to put it up on the blog along with all the other pictures and art that I have collected over the years. Enjoy!!
