Last Friday was the rally at the State Capitol opposing HB68. We met up on the Capitol steps at 10am. We were able to listen to representatives from USAC as well as Rep. Dixon M. Pitcher which is helping USAC draft a bill to combat HB68. This bill I have heard will reflect language that has been adopted by Idaho in order to reach compromise. We also got word that morning the Rep McIff was pulling back HB68 to work with USAC on compromising language. There were some loud cheers when we heard that. While attending I really did feel a sense of accomplishment, I know that we all made a difference. I think we are making steps in the right direction and I hope both sides can keep moving forward to compromise. Here is the latest from USAC’s website.
