I filled in for some friends out at Crystal Ranch for a three day guide trip a couple weeks ago. I don’t guide really that much due to my Family and Work schedule but the timing was right when they asked me. We had some great clients from NY and NJ. They had fished all over the county and even done some international trips. I asked them how they found a little lodge and ranch in Utah and they said they love fishing private water and even though they can go anywhere they wanted to be isolated and not really see anyone. Crystal Ranch is a great place located on private stretch of the Yellowstone river at the base of the Uinta Mountains. Here is some info from Their website.
Whether you’re here for incredible guided fly fishing on private access waters, a snowmobiling trip with friends, your honeymoon, or just to enjoy the mountain air in the western Rocky Mountains, you will always be the most important guest in the house. When you’re at the Crystal Ranch, the lodge, 2 + miles of private trout stream, the staff, and the entire ranch are all yours!
Here are some shots from the river that weekend. Bryan Eldredge form Utah Fly Guides and Falcons Ledge took all the photos so credit to him for some great shots.
