Frenzy Contest
I know this video isn’t the highest quality. I shot it with my Cannon Camera. I know you won’t be able to identify the fish by seeing it, but maybe by the way it is fighting and our reaction.
Regardless of quality though we want to give the first person that can guess what type of fish this is a brand new copy of “No Sports Allowed Volume 2″ how we do. It is fresh off the press and ready to get you jonesing for trout fishing.
To ensure we have the right winner you will need to email your answer to info@flyfishingfrenzy.com so we have a time stamp on the answers.
Ready, set, GO!!!!

We are having a ton of activity on our mystery fish post and no one has got it yet. here are the responses so far: rooster, GT, Jack, lionfish, mackerel, tarpon, permit, bonefish, pampano, puffer, marlin, sailfish, snook, shark, carp, steelhead, sea trout, cuda, dorado, squid, swordfish, octopus, tuna, spearfish, needlefish, wahoo, mako, mullet, sea bass, cobia, bonito, red drum, golden phase puffer, bluefish, amberjack, american shad, salmon, guppy, sheepshead, dolphin, yellowfin, snapper, mutton snapper, grouper, flounder, crab, black drum, not any type of grouper or snapper, and eel.
So, none of these are the right answer.
Here are some hints:
- we were fly fishing off the pacific coast of costa rica
- i couldn’t believe these fish were there
- They are extremely difficult to catch
- I thought they only resided in the Indian Ocean.
