Actually, it might have been the Konic smoking the big bass because this bass was landed.

Check out this pic of the week of Mike Applegate and his 26″ bass! Fly fishing for bass that big is an adventure not soon forgotten!

No, it was actually a river in central texas. I don’t know the name, but Mike Applegate sent me the pic and actually sent me another one of a similar bass he caught saturday. Looks like they are breeding big bass in central texas!

I have two Koinic reels and love them. The nice thing about ALL lamson reels is that they all have the same high end drag no matter what the cost of the reel. They are also really sweet looking and affordable.

We have done fly fishing gear reviews, fly fishing reports, fly fishing top 10 lists and fly tying.
