Day three started and ended on the Madison River. We actually started it off at the slide inn getting all the latest hatch info from Kelly Galloup and at the same time buying up some of his famous streamer flies. We hit the river mid morning landing some good fish nymphing some good holes and throwing some big stone dries. Late morning we started to see some Salmon flies hatching so we switched to the big bugs and had a blast hitting the banks. We took a break and headed to West Yellowstone for some grub at the Bear Tooth BBQ and finished the day off right hitting a good caddis hatch.
