A couple weeks ago I fished the Blacksmith Fork, a local river in Cache Valley, with my brother in law and his friend Chase Wood. We hit the river really early picking up a few fish right off the bat. We hit some deeper holes as we moved up river and my bro-in-law hooked into a fish, we landed it he said it was his first fish ever. I did a double take because I couldn’t believe it. I have taking him fishing before and was for sure that he had landed a fish or two but he said he hadn’t. This was the second time in the past few months that I have been with someone for their first fish. It is an awesome experience to see the look and expressions on ones face when they get that first fish.
The whole day was a great success landing some great trout and some of the biggest white fish I have ever seen.
