Evening Hatch
Went up on to the Provo River last Thursday night and had one of the best evenings of the summer.
The browns are getting ready to spawn so please keep your eyes open for the reds.

Last week I went fishing with the person that first got me into fly fishing.
While I was on a family vacation in Yellowstone my Uncle Daren took me to the upper Firehole River, gave me a caddis fly, told me where to cast and said cast in that hole there are tons of brook trout. [...]

Don’t believe a word Brent is saying. He filmed that at a fish farm. I went the next day to get on this PMD hatch…No PMD’s, No Fish..Nothing. LOL

I did the same last night and I was itching to tell someone but didn’t till now, for fear I better not give the secret away. I don’t know abot you & the river you were on, but what I saw was a spectacle unlike I have ever seen or even heard of in my life. My buddy Ebon & I were whitness to fish rising in a manor to witch I could never even imagaine. I saw fish by the hundreds yes I said by the hundreds feeding on caddis. 2 & 3 fish per second. Leaping fish like trained dolphins at sea world, with 360 degree twists and endo over end contortions. At a few points I just stoped casting to watch it all happen. As it got darker the moon shown across the water. I had never until last night set a hook by the light of the moon. It was soooo amazing to be there, in that place ,at that time.
